Have you explored ways for people to offset carbon emissions in the short term?

Airplanes are the worst for climate change. But it's going to be tough for most people to stop all at once like you and your team. I think it'd be helpful if you blogged about ways people could slowly wane airplane use, while still being carbon neutral through effective offsets...that also start working right away! Planting trees that absorb in 30 years just won't cut it...

I'm so pleased to see that more people are starting to reconsider their flying habits. Do you think that you'll continue your green travel efforts in the future, or will you fall back into old routines once the year is out?

Great to know about your adventure and the way you documented them as well... Hats Off for taking one year of working life, secondly travelling around the world without flying.. Amazing adventure... Keep it up guys and as an Indian I am proud of you...Literally only countable number of couple can do this...

hi, have you adresses to some companies to travel on cargo shops besides Grimaldi?

          Great achievement!

It takes courage to quit jobs and do what you did! Hope your efforts get converted into a mass movement! Western countries do realize about the carbon footprint; many countries including India are really not bothered except for making correct noises at various forums.

We will need to travel by air; however lot of discussion is required to deal with the menace of air travel!

          All the best
